At last, a close-up look at the eagerly awaited audio makeover! Two hefty square Kicker subwoofers sit in the rear, while high-capacity Kicker amplifiers are arranged three-dimensionally after the rear seats were removed.
Aochi first points out the pair of Kicker Solo-Baric L7 (S12L7) subwoofers mounted in the rear hatch. These square 12-inch units deliver a striking look and powerful, deep bass. Their enclosures are painted to match the amplifiers and the car’s body color, making the installation especially eye-catching.

The system is built around a DVD head unit DVA-7899J. Three high-capacity Kicker amplifiers drive a full speaker setup and large subwoofers, while the Sound Manager PA-H700 optimizes the cabin acoustics. Numbers in the illustration correspond to the component descriptions.

The Kicker KX power-amp series produces enormous power. Ogino installed three amps in a three-dimensional arrangement. He says even three amps may seem like a small number, but the powerful sound is more than enough. The painted units look fantastic, too!
