The engine has actually been swapped for a 4E! A 4E power unit—what's that? This is a full U.S.-spec Corolla sedan packed with enthusiast-focused custom work and tuning. The 4E is actually a Starlet engine, and of course the swap brings a punchy turbo. Finished in a muted cherry-brown, it keeps a low profile with no aero kit and adjustable suspension. Then the turbo power comes on strong! This Corolla is a real wild horse, unlike anything you see every day.

A tasteful USDM build, put together with restraint
This is a rare Corolla with a 4E engine unit. In other words, it's powered by the engine from a fast Starlet Turbo!
That nearly stock look feels very American. And the discreet boost gauge hints at its hidden power.
Both bumpers have been replaced with U.S.-spec factory bumpers. The rear fenders, which rubbed the tires when lowered, have also been modified.
