The U.S. magazine Sport Compact Car gave it rave reviews! In its September 2002 issue, the magazine devoted more than 20 pages to a major feature. The crew even came to Japan to photograph the demo Evo in a junkyard and circuit-test the Impreza. The car was also featured in the catalog for the Evo VIII built by Mitsubishi Motors North America, helping it become a major hit in the U.S.!
