Complete suspension review; rear stabilizer changed to a … type . Second car entered; final drive changed to 4.0. Exhaust-noise measures: wastegate …, final drive 3.2.

Changed to an atmosphere-vented wastegate, final drive 3.2. … changed steering-lock parts to JIC …, final drive 3.9 . In D1's fourth season, this Vertex Soarer was the only JZZ30 Soarer to enter and score points. Keeping this heavyweight coupe, weighing 1.7 tonnes in stock form, at the front each season reflects extraordinary passion and effort.

Its exterior is still close to a street car, but underneath it has racing specifications rivaling GT Championship machinery. The crimson Soarer bearing the VERTEX name deserves to be called one of Japan's finest cars.
