Everyone needed the water, and you were blocking access. You could have photographed the suspension outside the circuit. If the feature is about public-road cars, why shoot at a circuit? We all paid to drive and were trying our best. Please do not do that again. If I see it next time, I will say something directly! / Name withheld. ★ You’re right. I’m really sorry…
Good morning! I’m the terrible driver in the S15! Thank you for selecting me. Last night—or really early this morning—I practiced a lot because I wanted to drive even a little better at Student Drift. I went to a certain mountain road in Kanagawa… In the rain on the downhill, the car just would not stop! Yes, I smashed up my Silvia pretty badly! What do you think—isn’t it like a work of art? I’ll fix it before the contest; it can still drive like this, so I’m entering Student Drift!
…and the suspension and glass were not damaged, thankfully! Other Student Drift entrants may also get carried away and crash, so please be careful. ‘What an idiot!’ ★ People like this, right? By the time this is published, the event will already be over. That car is bent way backward, so I’m curious how you did on the day—but I’m sure you’ll be fine! Thanks for the Dr Pepper you included with your application. You taped a heartfelt message to the bottle, and I drank it while looking at it every day!
The feature said, ‘Ultra-high rate! Rear spring 7 kg/mm!’ But the article says, ‘The front springs are an amazing 70 kg/mm!’ The caption beneath the photo says, ‘I think the rear is 20 kg/mm,’ so I wondered if it was a typo. Was it? / Wara, Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa. ★ You are right: the front is 70 kg/mm. ‘Itai! Hikui! Urusai!’ in Nagoya also noticed. We chose Wara because of the submission time and wording.
Judging by the headlights, it looks like an R32. Comparing it with the ECR33 photo on the next page and the A-Bo Moon photo, I still think it is an R32. / Shigeyoshi Sakata, Iwate Prefecture. ★ The lettering was definitely our mistake—well spotted, typo master. But I believe the drawing is an R33. From the rear quarter to the trunk, it is clearly an R33 rather than an R32. The headlights could go either way, so only the artist knows for sure.

I was at the shoot for the ‘Ultimate Public-Road Spec’ feature in the September issue. I was attending a drift event, and you were in the way! Everyone had paid to drive at this event and was getting plenty of track time. It was hot, the water temperature was climbing, and people were working hard—so why were you filming by the water station?
What happened?
Right before the Student Drift contest—it was a close call

Complaint!
…! I thought we had left room for one car at the water station, but it was a little hard to get in. I’ll learn from this. I’m sorry to everyone who was there!
If you see anything like this, please do not hesitate to complain!

Typo Police Report
From the editors
Front or rear?
We made many more typos and caption errors again this time, and sincerely apologize! We proofread carefully, so why can’t we get the number down to zero? This time we selected two readers who pointed out errors that changed the meaning, rather than simple typos or conversion mistakes, plus one comment that made us laugh. Thank you for helping us!
Hello! I always try to buy Drift Tengoku on release day, although sometimes it arrives late here…
I’m War, and I always buy Drift Tengoku on release day and finish reading it in one sitting. I was rereading this month’s issue and found a typo!
On page 89, the battery in Seiya Saito’s Mark II…

…we apologize!
Initial D ends with volume 48!
This is my first submission! I always enjoy reading the magazine.
I drive an S14, but I am too afraid of crashing to practice drifting. I really wanted a Drift Tengoku sticker, so I desperately searched for an error…
Am I the typo master?
On page 141, in the final part of the Initial D feature, the battle’s ending…
The ending is not revealed in volume 47. Volume 47 is not the last one, and you wrote that volume 48 is the final volume! It is a small thing, but I would love a sticker, so please consider me…
Good evening. Thank you for the September issue too! I’m the typo master…
…was that me? If so, thank you again! Were there fewer typos this issue, or was I just unable to find them? Is the typo master in danger!? All right, let’s get started!
…!
Oosato District, Saitama Prefecture / Out-of-prefecture 14 driver. ★ Oh no! Kawashima is an Initial D fan, so how did he make that mistake? Volume 47 had only just come out. And what was that ending? It leaves you hanging!
On page 28, the caption under Kida’s photo says ‘afternoon measures are complete!’ It should read ‘heat measures are complete!’
…it should say ‘heat countermeasures are complete!’ The wording on page 98 about the protruding part should be ‘sprouted/grown,’ and in the auto-race notice on page 143, ‘00 cars…’
I want to drive an 180SX in the future!
The illustration by Tatsuya Sasaki on page 105 says, ‘That’s a four-door R33’…
