Many struggle with jobs that require strength, especially tight suspension bolts. That may be why dating a guy who knows cars is not unusual. Supporting each other’s weak points is part of relationships, after all. Some said they leave all the car work to their boyfriends. Maybe the key is knowing how to keep him in a good mood so he’ll do the work!?
Some say that just being on a mostly male team leads to rumors about relationships. It can be hard to attend a track day where an ex will be present, or someone may confess feelings within the team and then exclude the person after being turned down. The survey sheets were not long enough for all the messy relationship stories. But quite a few also said they were shy and had trouble making friends. If someone seems lonely, why not go over and talk to them?
