The ‘no’ answers include women who do not currently have boyfriends. Those who prefer a boyfriend who drifts gave heartfelt reasons such as, ‘It matters to have someone who understands a hobby many people dislike,’ as well as practical ones like, ‘He’s useful when I work on my car.’ Reasons for not wanting a drifting boyfriend included, ‘I don’t want him interfering with my hobby’ and, amusingly, ‘I’d be in trouble if he were a better driver than me.’ Few said they would give up their drift car after marriage, though one added that she would definitely quit drifting after getting married.
