Good morning! It’s definitely early, and I’m sleepy! If this page rings a bell, you’re right: as promised in the previous issue, we’ve come to Nikko Circuit. The plan is to enjoy a full day of drifting in the Seven we’ve been maintaining. Sounds fun, right? This is the sixth installment of the series that began in the October issue last year, and at last we’re driving at the circuit. It’s been a long six months, from summer through winter. I’ve been waiting so long to drive! We almost missed registration because we left just in time, then got stuck in a traffic jam caused by an accident on the Tohoku Expressway just before Utsunomiya. What!? Will we make registration? We squeezed through and just made it, though time was running out. This project is always plagued by trouble, and this time was no exception. Anyway, after that chaotic start, I hope the track day ends safely. First we need to prepare and attend the driver’s meeting—busy, busy!

We left in time, but an accident on the Tohoku Expressway caused a huge traffic jam just before Utsunomiya. “Oh no! We’ll miss check-in!” After getting through the jam, we barely slid into Nikko Circuit in time. The project always runs into trouble, and this time was no different. Please let the rest of the track day go smoothly! First, we have to get ready and attend the drivers’ meeting. What a rush!
