...that's how it would have turned out, I think. Many people who have recently gotten into sport compacts were probably influenced by The Fast and the Furious. Thanks to that, I can enjoy both sports and VIP styles, and it gave me the push to focus on sport compacts rather than street-racing builds. Next I'm adding neon tubes. Please run a feature on how to install them!

I'm caught in a dilemma. Lately, my head has been full of plans for a sport-compact tune. But the AE111 Levin has no export-market model, so I worry that a sport-compact build might not work out. I'm torn about what to do.
I guess one of the joys of sport compacts is building a car your own way without worrying about being too proper. Still, I want to work hard to create a style that captures the essence of sport compacts. For my next car, I think a ZZT231 Celica would be great! I enjoyed seeing so many Celicas in this issue.
If someone says that doesn't make it a real sport compact, that's that—but so what? Nobody should criticize what you love. Rules are meant to be broken! If you love sport compacts, that's all that matters.
If we get too hung up on rules, we'll never get started! If it wasn't exported to America, then it can't be a sport compact...

If only I had started back then…!
I would have been building a sport compact ten years ago.
It's not too late! All you need is the motivation. Thinking of adding neon tubes next? Check out the ‘Sport Compact Civic Project’ on page 228 of this issue for reference.
I always think Z should have gone on a diet ten years ago...but it's not too late now!

When I see a car of the same model as mine built in a sport-compact style, I feel like I'm being left behind—and it lights a fire under me. My car isn't quite at the point where I can call it a sport compact yet, so I'll keep putting in the effort, money, and time until I'm satisfied.
Competition...
Wow, Z is really moved! Healthy competition raises your motivation and brings out your ‘sporting spirit.’ Z will keep cheering you on, so keep giving it your all! Long live the sport-compact spirit!
Oh, you're so competitive! But that kind of spirit is important, you know.
