One-of-a-kind wheels The Mugen wheels I sent in for repair finally came back. It took about a month—it felt so long! I had them repainted too, but it didn't go as planned. I wanted bronze to peek through the black, but the finish came back entirely black—and matte black at that! Still, they're really sleek and beautiful. Black wheels on my car's black body actually look surprisingly good. Since Mugen wheels only come in bronze, mine have become truly one of a kind. I'm completely happy with how they turned out now.
I never win the giveaways It's almost been a year since the magazine became a sport-compact title, and I've been buying it for a whole year without winning a single prize... Everyone wants those giveaways, I know. I'll keep trying! By the time this postcard arrives, The Fast and the Furious 2 will probably be out. I'll take my beloved EJ1 to a night showing—I'm so excited! See you at Fast 2! I was an extra in the street-racing scenes!

I want to give away more prizes!
Oh, you're so mercenary! Anyway, welcome back! The wheel...
About the giveaways... I'm sorry! We'll do our best to give more people a chance to win...

Thank you, as always, for sending us your postcards.
Junya Hirata, Hokkaido: ‘So almost everything is homemade? Amazing! I can feel the love and determination. I want to know how much time and effort it took to finish it to this level!’
Everything was homemade except for the full repaint.

Zero 1000 air filter. Interior: homemade (dash/trim...; paintwork done by a shop because it uses a special color). They also modified the stock bumper to add ducts and the hood...and, of course, the sport-compact staple: neon tubes.
They even modified the hood themselves, not just the vinyl graphics and stickers...

I've started collecting sport-compact mini-cars. I'll keep at it little by little and won't give up…since a real car is out of reach for me.
