The G-Force demo car continues to perform at the top level in drag and circuit events. It looks almost too powerful to be easy to drive—but there’s no need to worry. The Evolution belongs to company president Tazawa. It has N₂O and fine tuning, yet keeps its air conditioning and audio, making it a practical commuter. Still, its NX is a serious wet-shot system. The wheels are changed to match each stage, and when it’s time to go, it’s seriously fast. See the next page for details!

An easy, lower-risk power add-on: N₂O. Nitrous oxide contains about 66% oxygen, nearly twice the amount in normal air. More oxygen improves combustion efficiency, delivering a major power increase. The N₂O is compressed into liquid form in the tank, then vaporizes when injected, producing a cooling effect. The power gain can be substantial, so fuel mixture must be set correctly. Installation is best left to a professional.

There are three main ways to supply N₂O (explained on page 45). In general, the system aims to improve combustion efficiency and increase the power of the burn in the chamber.

A solenoid valve controls delivery of N₂O. The amount supplied and timing of injection must be carefully adjusted to achieve the desired result.
