Part 02: Lowrider Euro

6.

Color coordination is essential when discussing Lowrider Euro custom style. The two cars shown here both feature eye-catching orange-based body colors, but each uses color in combination with its other parts.

13.

Lowrider Euro cars tend not to use many vinyl graphics or lots of colors; body color is kept simple...

'Lowrider Euro has an image of being a cutting-edge style, so I kept that in mind from choosing the base car through the custom style. It's fun to keep doing new things,' says Hiroki. He says he got started with Lowrider Euro because 'it's fun to keep trying new things.'

The meter surround and other details are finished in white, matching the body color. The combination with the otherwise stock-looking exterior is excellent.

Samurai Performance's exterior work around the body is still in progress. The custom work has not yet advanced very far...

...The owner may well have spent considerable time coordinating the body color. The two Accords—a sedan and a wagon—shown here both make effective use of combinations based on orange, creating styles that make viewers stop and look.

...make it stand out.

31.

Don't dismiss color as a trivial detail. Making color use the central concept is one possible approach.

32.

As the owner says, he deliberately chose a subdued white for the body, then used the interior combination to bring out a sense of custom style. That's impressive!
