  1. It is quite easy to use…
  2. Good-looking!
  3. The factory Integra Type R [part name missing in OCR] suits the early S14 well. The owner is Yamagishi, 21, of Crescendo. The 8.5J Vienna [wheel model OCR damaged] also suits it!
  4. …very practical!
  5. A car rarely seen drifting, owned by Shinohara, nicknamed Tacchan [name/age OCR damaged]. Intercooler, muffler, increased boost and R33 four-piston calipers [front/rear relationship requires verification] give it plenty of potential!
  6. He reportedly bought it for ¥1,600,000.
  7. He hurriedly installed this Profec e-01 yesterday. The boost increase is finished for now! Shinohara loves the C35 Laurel and apparently owns another one too!
  8. The red S14 with an S15 front belongs to Fukushima, 24 [team name damaged]. The engine has received careful internal work, including seat and combustion-chamber machining. The turbo is a GT2540. Two years ago he fitted MAS fenders and converted the front end. Omitting side steps was deliberate, emphasizing the rounded form for a classic-car look. [Several words in OCR damaged.]
  9. Are S15-front conversions becoming a trend!? [heading OCR damaged].
  10. Strangely fresh!
  11. C35 Laurel
  12. Ishikawa’s comedy duo [OCR damaged].
  13. …Dance School appears! [opening damaged].
  14. The orange Mark II with a Chaser front is Chabo’s. The C33 Laurel belongs to Kamiguchi. Their team, Chabo Dance School, is so famous that virtually everyone in Hokuriku knows them. Many participating cars wore their stickers today. [Names partly damaged in OCR.]
  15. [Unclear: fragmented label.]
  16. Another S15-front conversion [heading OCR damaged]. This is Kobayashi of Pittarinko (pronounced “Pittarinko”). The team apparently has about 20 members and is a leading Ishikawa team.
  17. NEO straight-six power revitalizes the driving! [headline OCR damaged].
  18. Ikeda [age damaged] had opened his hood ready for our interview. It contains a NEO straight-six RB25! Apparently the performance cannot compare with an ordinary RB25: “It is on a different level!” he says delightedly. A Tomei [component name damaged], GT2535 turbo and R34 computer finish it well. The engine swap reportedly cost about ¥200,000. At left is Hashimoto, who built it.
  19. Huh? That car is…!?
  20. A JZX100 Chaser in Kanagawa style! It was formerly Oguchi’s car from Night Walkers [name reading provisional], bought after visiting a used-car dealer in Kanagawa. Its owner, Hama, 23, belongs to Crescendo. “A car built by someone from a strong team uses good parts and should be trustworthy,” he thought, buying it at Car Kobo for ¥2,800,000. Of course…
  21. …he thought…
  22. …it runs perfectly!
  23. The after-sales support was excellent too.
  24. Hokuriku drifters’ summer fun: flat-out drifting at a ski resort!
  25. …they simply want to let loose in a big open space! Watching their relaxed drifting is refreshing. Yet the level is high: most could link all the turns. The orange JZX81 Chaser and the JZX100 Chaser in full Kanagawa style were particularly impressive. Hokuriku quietly harbors many talented drivers! Organizer Road Star Hokuriku is an Ishikawa-based car shop with several stores in the prefecture. It has held drift events at YZ Circuit, but customers’ travel costs had become substantial, so it approached IOX-AROSA to ask about somewhere nearby to drive freely. It plans more relaxed events of this kind. “We want to hold events to energize Hokuriku’s drifters. We would like a combined championship too,” they said. We are looking forward to it!
