  6. Wow—D1 Round 5 was full of twists and turns. Typhoon No. 10 hit directly on qualifying day, bringing such terrible conditions that cancellation seemed possible. For the finals the next day, the typhoon had passed and temperatures soared well above 30°C. With conditions changing constantly, crashes and mechanical problems came one after another: it was the biggest survival battle of the year. Amid all that, our familiar Drift Tengoku regulars put in a great effort! Both cars made it into the paddock for finals day—could this be their first such achievement? That is something to celebrate! Extra! Extra!
