This R Magic FC favors easy driving over a razor-sharp high-rpm character, and its straight-line stability is excellent. Strong torque from 4,500 to 7,000 rpm gives it forceful acceleration. A K27S turbo runs at up to 1.3 kg/cm², for an estimated output above 500 PS. The exhaust uses a 90 mm front pipe and a 90-to-114 mm muffler; the original six-port manifold is retained. The drivetrain has a close-ratio three-speed transmission and twin-plate clutch, with Advan tires. Fueling is set up with durability in mind, making the car reassuring to drive.
Captions and page details
Estimated output is over 500 PS. The engine has side-port and rotor work. A K27S turbo is fitted, with maximum boost set to 1.3 kg/cm².
Flat torque makes it exceptionally easy to drive! Built to last, with confidence in its durability.

The engine pulls strongly and smoothly to 8,000 rpm. Along with the original CPU it uses a Revick III, a Bakston fuel pump, four 550 cc main injectors and four additional 720 cc injectors, plus an original 60 mm exhaust manifold.
A TD06-20G twin was also considered, but the TD08-33B was chosen for its power characteristics. The setup can handle everything from street driving to drag runs.
The gauge layout was changed along with the original instrument panel. The boost gauge is in the center, with the tachometer at upper left...
...and the arrangement is completed there.
The exterior has original round four-lamp full-cover pieces, side steps, and a rear spoiler. The hood has been changed to a type with improved cooling.
TARIS SED?
The polished engine bay is also prepared for summer. It has a layered special TEC intercooler and an MS Engineering oil cooler, among other equipment.
The key to a quarter-mile tune!
Turbo choice prioritizes usability!
The TD08-33B-15M is simply enormous.
Rotary engines are characterized by high exhaust pressure. The 13B...
This West Sports FC is aimed at street use and quarter-mile runs. It uses a large TD08-33B turbo; because the stock engine could not keep up, it received side-port work and a custom exhaust manifold, with a straight-through muffler layout and a 100 mm outlet...
...is used.
At 1.3 kg/cm² of boost it makes 540 PS at 7,800 rpm. It comes onto the power band in the upper 4,000s and pulls dramatically from 5,000 to over 9,000 rpm.
Even an 80-series Supra-class turbo can be fully used in this application. Still, a TD08-33B-class large turbo is too much for a stock engine. Side-port work and a higher level of engine tuning are therefore required.
When choosing the turbo, they avoided an excessively peaky power delivery...
...can be difficult to drive and leave the hardware underused. A setup that builds power from lower rpm is faster and easier to drive, and ultimately more satisfying.
