This grip was created to win fierce tail-to-nose battles. The tread grooves have been made shallower than before to increase block rigidity, giving the tire a sharp, focused pattern. Technologies incorporated into the RSV98 specification—including a soft compound and a high-rigidity casing—are made for the fighting spirit of the circuit. It also matches the potential of heavily tuned suspensions, enabling hotter, more aggressive driving than anyone else.
