Mr. Hayakawa had been driving a lightly tuned Integra (DA series) with only intake and exhaust work. He switched to this car, which already had an exhaust manifold and wheels fitted, and after he began visiting Speed House his tuning enthusiasm really took off. The exterior has not changed much, but the engine has received a camshaft, port-and-polish work, a modified surge tank, an original ECU, and other upgrades. Next he plans to install a turbo kit from the American shop DRAG!

DC Sports tower bar, RS Akimoto intake system, and Crane ignition give the car a strong American flavor.

What Hayakawa-san especially likes is the US Apex 130φ Dunk; besides its imposing look, he says the sound is fantastic.

The tachometer has to be an Auto Meter! He chose a Type R titanium shift knob and a MOMO Race steering wheel.
