Kayo-chan is full of spirit. She switched from a Silvia to a Laurel for the simple (or perhaps not so simple) reasons that it has four doors and was inexpensive, and she keeps heading to her home turf in Hakone. The engine has a secret tune, while the suspension is an unknown-brand coilover setup. The tuning details seem a little uncertain, but the Recaro seat, roll bar, and favorite Hayashi Racing wheels make it clear how much she loves driving. Since few girls drive this kind of car, it gets plenty of attention.

I drift with an extreme “oni-camber” setup!

NIGHT

7.

It is carefully set up with a tower bar, 5-point roll bar, Nismo LSD, and more. She practices drifting in Hakone on weekends, but lately she has been thinking about switching to a fashionable four-door sedan such as a Tourer.

6.

The reason I chose the 180SX is simple: it looked cool.

5.

The pearl-pink body color, which really stands out, is her favorite. The engine has a light tune with a Bee Racing computer, HKS Power Flow, and a Pro muffler. For the suspension, she has JIC coilovers and Cusco…

19.

The stickers lined up on the quarter window are from teams that have helped her. She has not forgotten Night Minx!

The suspension is an unknown-brand coilover setup…

22.

She says she would go driving every day as long as there is gas in the tank.

20.

A clever rear bumper!

24.

The rear bumper is a Cefiro Autech Version part, modified to fit. It looks factory-original, with no awkward mismatch. Nice choice!

28.

I’ll drive every day if I have gas money!
