Sequential shift-set controls: Press the upshift and downshift switches together to turn the sequential mechanism on or off. Downshift control: a circuit prevents over-revving and is designed for safe downshifts at different speeds. The transmission automatically returns to first gear at traffic lights or when stopped. Shift control: choose the up/down switch positions as desired. A safety circuit prevents shifting down by more than two gears at once. Wiring for the upshift/downshift switches can be routed out of sight without tangling around the steering wheel.
