Street-racing teams rent out a circuit and enjoy a track day with friends and like-minded crews. These kinds of meets have become more common. It’s a lot like having fun with your friends on a familiar mountain pass, except the setting moves to a circuit. This meet was organized by the street-racing team NIGHT ACTOR, which rented the North Course at Ebisu Circuit…
It may be called a team, but it’s really more like an alliance formed from several different street-racing crews. This was NIGHT ACTOR’s first time organizing a meet. Around 50 street racers gathered for the event and threw their cars from side to side around Ebisu Circuit’s North Course. Everyone there seemed to have a great time. A track day with friends who share the same enthusiasm sounds great.

These two Hachiroku are just as brightly colored as the others. Mr. Otsuki’s is light blue metallic; Mr. Masuda’s is Super Crazy Yellow. At a glance, they almost look like race cars!

Mr. Iriyama’s MR2 draws the eye with its large Garage Fukui rear wing. He says he has spent so much modifying the car that he’d rather not think about the total. That oversized rear wing is seriously cool! And Mr. Kobayashi’s Silvia is getting a close-ratio transmission next, so it’s going to become an even more impressive car.
