The Cefiro needed more power, so we added some power parts: RB26 GT-R injectors, Nismo main injectors, an LSD, and more. The engine has also been overhauled. Drifting used to be about looking cool and flashy, but it has recently shifted toward higher speeds. I’m focusing on that too. I’m more of a street driver and haven’t done many circuits. This was only my fourth or fifth time at this circuit. I’d like to drive circuits more often if I can afford it.

“At the front I use custom coilovers from Garage Pacific with TEN springs (10 kg). At the rear are TRD short-stroke shocks with eight settings and TRD springs (5.1 kg). I also use TEN pillow-ball tension rods at the front, Cusco urethane bushings at the rear, and tower bars front and rear, though I don’t know the make. And of course it has a differential. I’m happy with the suspension now—the coilovers feel especially good. If possible, I’d like coilovers at the rear too.”

“We use JIC coilovers front and rear, with the shock damping increased by 20%. Otherwise, we haven’t done much. I’d like to add stabilizer bars and upgraded bushings. I’m aiming for higher-speed inertia drifting, so…
