Even after your car has been delivered, IMPACT! wants you to be able to see how it is doing. That is why we deliberately start with accident-free, completely stock cars. Because the build begins from stock, you can choose the finished car and specify the engine (such as a B18C or B20B), aero kit, lights, wheels, and body color to suit your preferences. You may already know about the B20B’s powerful 2,100 cc torque — it can cruise around town in fourth gear — but building one requires machining and special parts, including cylinder boring and full-flow work on the connecting rods. One of those parts is the VTEC oil line kit. The B20B used in the Stepwgn, S-MX, and CR-V did not come in a VTEC version. VTEC operates hydraulically, but the B20B block has no oil passage for it. Using IMPACT!’s oil-line kit makes VTEC operation possible. We also sell a 2,100 cc short-block kit with dedicated pistons installed and the cylinders bored. Please call us for details.
