After 10 p.m., they finally appear on the highway and leave the city center behind. Their destination: a long tunnel with a straight stretch of road. After a moment of silence, like a breath being drawn, the lead car stomps on the accelerator and roars forward in a sudden burst. For an instant, it felt as if even the air around us bent under the force. From here on, the rules fall away; only speed rules this world—yes, the NFSU world, not reality! That’s what it seems to say…

Late-night streets are a crossover zone between fiction and reality!
The bridge offers a perfect vantage point. You might think this high-speed course would be a disadvantage for the EJ1, but it’s powered by a Type R B18C. Its top-end pull is excellent!
On a clear, wide three-lane straight, technique doesn’t matter. All you need is the nerve to keep your foot on the accelerator.
