• Alpine head unit: DVA-7899J / front TV: TVE-T850 / 5.1-channel processor: PXA-H700 / front speakers: SPX-Z15M ×2 / front speaker amplifiers: MRV-T320 / rear speakers: SPR-136A = SPR-136A ×2 and SPR-176A ×2 / rear-speaker amplifier: MRV-F340 / rear monitor: TME-M760X3 / subwoofers: SWR-1241D ×2 / subwoofer amplifier: MRD-M300 • Phoenix Gold capacitors: XSC12 ×3 • Optima battery: Blue Top
The finished result feels remarkably modern. The rear hatch has been transformed into an audio-visual space built around Alpine components, with the kind of show-car impact you see today. The legendary L-series engine remains naturally aspirated but has been mechanically tuned, producing the dry, distinctive sound characteristic of a carbureted car. The exterior combines deep-lip Watanabe wheels with riveted, unfinished overfenders; its nostalgic character feels refreshingly new.Long live the Z!

This DC2 will look familiar to enthusiastic readers. Yes, it is the same car that served as a Weber Sports demo vehicle. Its exterior has changed since its previous appearance…
It keeps its basic shape, but the interior and audio are remarkably well equipped. The cabin has been painted lime green to match the body, and Rockford Fosgate amplifiers and speakers are installed in the rear. With this much work, the owner can proudly call it an original creation.
