The R is an R, but this one has the bigger brother’s 1.8-liter engine. It wears a full Bomex aero kit and vinyl graphics, and sits on lightweight, rigid Yokohama RG wheels for a classic sport-compact look. But the true meaning of its concept—“a sport compact that can also run the circuit”—is hidden beneath the hood. There, Honda’s top B18C engine from the Integra Type R roars away, producing 200 horsepower from a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter. It is a remarkable machine!

A Cynos is rare enough on its own, especially a convertible, of which fewer than 45 are believed to exist. Yet this one has been fitted with a turbo power unit. Cynos enthusiasts may know the EP82 Starlet engine swap, but this car uses the final-generation EP91 unit. It also has a six-speed manual gearbox from an AE111 Levin/Trueno. That is quite a transformation—75 points!

This Odyssey is set up for circuit driving with a turbo. A modified TakeRoses aero kit and Work CR-Kai wheels give it an extremely aggressive minivan look!

Extremely rare! A Cynos convertible with a turbo and six-speed manual—a one-of-a-kind sleeper in sheep’s clothing.

Looks are one thing, but perhaps the real appeal of sport-compact tuning is how deep you can go with the mechanical work. There is so much to explore!
