- Yakushiji, who sent us a distinctive report, was delighted when we asked him to test the product—not only at being chosen, but also at appearing in the magazine. These reports explain how a product works and how to install it, but they also give you a chance to express yourself! Put some ideas into your photos and reports that bring out your personality.
- When the original RB20 engine blew, I replaced it with an RB20 built to 2.3 liters. Even at 2.3 liters the power was only reasonable, so I wanted more. For installation I asked the shop that always looks after me,
- Brilliant Road in Misato, Saitama. Manager Tobari, who fitted it, said, “I want one of these myself.” The job took just under two hours, but it looked fairly involved: he removed a lot of piping around the turbo. Once it was installed, we went straight out to try it. This boost controller's biggest feature—automatically adjusting the boost simply by entering the pressure you want—

- is extremely convenient. Tobari, who set it up, said, “It's much faster than before!” Next we adjusted the gain so boost would build sooner. Even from the passenger seat, you could feel the improved response. I attended a drift practice day on Ebisu Circuit's South Course. Corners where I previously needed a clutch kick could now, when I got it right, be cleared with throttle control alone. Unfortunately it was raining that day. I got carried away and went off at the Let's Go corner! I damaged the suspension, and the car is now in for repairs. Once it's fixed, I want to go driving again.

- Finally, thank you very much to everyone at Drift Tengoku, to BLITZ, and to Tobari at Brilliant Road. I'll work hard to drive well enough to make full use of the SBC i-D III. [Model suffix requires checking against the scan.]
- A bigger power gain than increasing engine displacement!
- The speed at which boost builds is astonishing!
- My HCR32. Brilliant Road handled the installation. [Final fragment unreadable.]
- The sequential solenoid valve was installed on the left side of the car, where the turbo actuator is located.
- Tobari handled the installation in the engine bay; I did the interior work. Anyone who can install car audio should find the interior wiring easy.

- I wasn't sure where to put the monitor. I used hook-and-loop tape to mount it on the passenger side of the dashboard, so I can move it when adjusting the settings.

- ☆☆☆☆★ It's expensive, but I'd save up and buy it. ☆★★★★ [Rating symbols preserved from OCR; alignment requires visual review.]
- The interior installation was easy, but the engine-bay work looked difficult. It gave me power I didn't have before. Everyone says, “Amazing!”, “I want one!” and “I'm jealous!”
- The SBC i-D series offers many functions, and we're very confident in its performance. With the separately sold external voltage-input harness, it can display water temperature and knock level, too, so please try it. We also recommend adjusting boost in manual mode: boost builds slightly sooner than when you adjust it in automatic mode. —Abe, BLITZ [A few OCR characters damaged.]
