The Tochigi crew joins the fray!

10.

A full-throttle tandem from Koguchi and Hiraoka!

12.

Nikko is in Tochigi, and when you think of Tochigi, you think of Irohazaka. These two have been rivals for 20 years. Hiraoka is younger, but apparently when they first met, Koguchi lost to him and still did not start using polite speech. What a memorable story!

16.

What a story!

17.

A young crew joins in, aiming for a place among the legends!

22.

Funky (Chiba Prefecture): the gold crew is Funky. Looking at the group as a whole, can we really call them “young”? They compete in Chiba’s street class.

21.

MoccoMans (Chiba Prefecture): the yellow crew is Chiba’s MoccoMans. “Napkin Baba,” who came back after a break, is among them. They also compete in Chiba’s street class.

20.

(Gunma Prefecture)

19.

“Wild Boar Racing” is a Gunma crew, known (perhaps!) around the mountain-pass scene and unified in pink. I miss that wild bunch who tore it up at a student drift event a few years ago.

18.

JAM/style (Kanagawa Prefecture): a young crew from the Keihin area… or so it seems. They are a pretty close-knit group. There have not been many well-known teams emerging from Kanagawa lately, so I hope these guys make their mark.
