We fitted a 1JZ bottom end and 2JZ head, then raised output to 600 hp. That still wasn’t enough, so we installed a 2JZ. It is durable and relatively inexpensive to build. Many Hachi-Rokus now on the market are tired, so we chose a clean Hachi-Go as the base. At 1.8 bar of boost, this wolf in sheep’s clothing makes 700 hp from its modest-looking body.
