This quarter-mile car has its compression ratio lowered to 8.3 for high-boost power. Fueling is increased not only with four 550 cc main injectors, but also four additional 295 cc injectors. A huge custom surge tank, a large Infiniti throttle body, and a high-capacity Z32 airflow meter are among the standard ingredients of this all-out build. A GREX six-speed transmission helps cover imperfect launches, but it remains a wild machine that is difficult to launch cleanly. Taming a high-power rear-wheel-drive car is part of the fun of drag racing.

Its huge power makes launching delicate and demands precise throttle control. When you get it right, though, the feeling is exceptional. The suspension uses Tein coilovers.
