This composite brake-pad technology improves fade resistance, durability, and noise suppression in a balanced way. The Rev Spec sports street brake pad uses a composite design: ceramic and metal-composite friction material is embedded across 20%–30% of the surface area of a non-asbestos pad. It is designed so that wear particles from the composite material adhere to and coat the working surface of the non-asbestos friction material. By combining the characteristics of both materials, the pad delivers strong control across a wide range of conditions—from low to high temperatures—for street and sports use.

A refined brake feel created by the composite materials. The non-asbestos friction material is made from carefully selected high-friction materials. The ceramic and metal-composite friction material uses a good-feeling compound that is gentle on rotors. Rev Spec achieves fade resistance and reduced squeal.
