Gifts are for individual customers, limited to one per customer during the campaign. Salary direct deposit requires submission of a request form. Utility payments must include at least three of electricity, gas, water, telephone and NHK. Sumitomo Card applicants must use the bank form and designate a Sumitomo Bank account for settlement; partner cards are excluded. Monthly savings deposits qualify when newly opened or increased to at least ¥10,000. Applications by mail order or telephone banking will receive a gift voucher (redeem by May 15, 1998). Gifts are first-come, first-served at each branch; quantities vary, and an alternate item may be substituted if stock runs out.
Branches with 24-hour service: Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Umeda and Namba; ATMs at Ikebukuro Station, Kanda South Exit, Kawasaki North Exit and Yokohama West Exit. 7:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m. service: Ochanomizu, Takadanobaba, Tachikawa, Nakano, Machida, Kyobashi and Tennoji Station branches; ATMs at Kinshicho Station and Shimbashi Station (7:00 a.m.–midnight), and JR Kyoto Station.
