Hello, YV editors. It’s been a while. I enjoy reading every issue. I’m turning 20 this year. My beloved 180SX is going strong. I bought it about a year and a half ago. I remember the day I bought it. I had always wanted a white 180SX, because I thought it would be great for drifting. I’d imagined that an 180SX would let me drift, and that idea helped me choose it. When I started shopping, I found that the 180SX I wanted was around ¥2.2 million, and the automatic version cost more than the manual. I was working part-time, so I gave up on the car I wanted. I finally got a black automatic 180SX, but I still think about buying a white one and converting it to a manual, or buying a black manual and changing the body kit. I’m attached to my black 180SX and love seeing it, even if it’s only twice a week. Is it strange to care this much about color? My car was stock when I bought it, so I’m saving money to add parts. Saving is hard, but I’ve learned how important it is to save for something you really want. I love cars, and once I start adding parts I want to keep going! I still want to improve it. (OCR on this letter is heavily damaged; details uncertain.)

We’re recruiting members for our team. We’re beginners, but we want to drive and talk about cars together and have fun. We’d like to meet about once a month. We mainly enjoy grip driving, but we’re open to other styles. There are currently three team cars: AE92, S13, and an E? (OCR unclear). If you live nearby and are interested, beginners and women are welcome. Send a letter with your address, name, age, phone number, and a short self-introduction. 1489-2 Matsuroku, Togane City, Chiba Prefecture.

Lots of people care about color and parts and drive their cars that way, don’t they?

I thought I’d be able to drift as soon as I drove it…

You really can’t beat a manual transmission.

19.

I can’t believe I’ve gotten this passionate about cars. My parents and boyfriend understand, so I’m going to keep enjoying them. I’d also like to own and drive an MCR32 Skyline with a manual transmission. It’s great to drive a car you really love. I’ll keep working toward that. I hope I can get one soon! …I think so.

It gets expensive, doesn’t it?

22.

I can’t practice drifting, so lately I’ve been getting interested in dressing up my car. I want to make it look stylish before winter, when I can’t drive as much…
