I’m happy to find that more girls than I expected read the magazine and that I have fellow car lovers. Even at my age, I admire street racers—those who follow good manners! I inherited a used Supra, and it runs very well, perhaps because the previous owner took good care of it. I want to gradually turn it into my own kind of Supra. I’ll keep enjoying the magazine every month. (The OCR at the start of this continuation is incomplete.)
I was impressed by that story and came to respect street racers a little more. I want to become a racer like him. I only have an automatic license, but I’m seriously thinking of getting a manual license. Once I do, I’d love to drive the Levin-chan he worked on every day. I don’t know much about cars, so I want to study and get closer to what he loves. Please take care and keep up the great work. (Anonymous, “Levin-chan’s rival”)
Hello, YV editors. I’m a 24-year-old woman who drives a JZA80 Supra. I only recently became interested in cars, and I’m currently staying in a hospital—not because I had an accident. My boss brought YV when visiting me, and I found it incredibly fun and entertaining. Reading it, I was surprised to see how many women are into cars, and I felt glad to find people like me. I admire street racers who obey good manners. I bought my Supra used, but the previous owner must have cared for it because it runs beautifully. I want to gradually make it my own. I’ll enjoy reading every month. I’m cheering for YV from the hospital! (Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture)
I want to drive the Hachiroku he loves! Hello, YV. I’m a woman who will turn 21 this year. The person I love is a street racer who drives an AE86 Levin. He calls his car “Levin-chan” and always talked about it happily. I used to get a little jealous of Levin-chan. We broke up in January, but I still love him. He once told me that every Saturday in summer he and his friends pick up trash on the mountain roads…

School is buzzing about cars!
Hello, YV editors. I started buying YV in February, and I’m a high-school senior. My school is full of car talk right now. Everyone is turning 18 and starting driving school, so they’re excitedly choosing cars—180SXs, Civics, GT-Rs, and so on.
They each have their favorites. Everyone talks as if they know everything, saying things like “Are you going to modify it?” I chose this magazine because I want to learn about cars seriously, not just pretend I know.

I want to learn about cars properly. The magazine is great. There’s a lot I don’t know yet, but I plan to buy it every month. Please keep up the good work. P.S. I want a Silvia, but I don’t understand what K’s, S14, or S13 mean. Please explain. (Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture)
Matsugon: I hope you get your license soon and can buy a Silvia. K’s is the turbo trim; the naturally aspirated models are Q’s and J’s. S14 is the current generation, and S13 is the previous Silvia model.

What you want
Matsugon: I dream of holding an event where everyone who reads YV can gather. The biggest circuits were the most popular, but the most common reason for choosing a location was that it’s near home. Now, where should we hold it?
¥500,000 is a lot of money, but it’s also an amount that makes you think carefully. Opinions were divided between suspension, exterior, and power upgrades. Quite a few people said they would save for their next car. I think I’d repaint the whole car.
