Clear tail lamps
Clear-look lamps
It’s seriously see-through!

This is the completely stock setup, with the turn signals, brake lights, and all lamps switched on. It is the familiar, ordinary EG6 tail-light appearance.
When the brakes are on, the clear tail lamps glow pink rather than red. The unusual color looks pretty cool!
Clear tail lenses like these are often seen on RVs such as the Avenir and Odyssey, and on VIP-style cars. Replacing them is simple: just swap them for the stock units. They attract attention whether lit or not. They are also taking off among Honda enthusiasts in America, so check them out!
About 10 minutes—easy as can be. It’s great!
Super easy!
Is it difficult? Not at all! How long does installation take? About 10 minutes. How much attention does it attract? It’s excellent!

Clear tail lamps / clear back lamps
Show off those popular see-through parts!
We did not use it this time, but the housing also has a hole for a side-marker bulb to match the U.S. specification. The unit on the right is stock.
It does not look obviously modified, which makes this a very beautiful piece. Be careful: if the application area is wide or has steps, the finish will not look clean. Young Version tried to cover the whole tail section but gave up partway through. We recommend removing the lens and working carefully indoors with a hair dryer.
It is replaced only in the turn-signal and brake-light sections. Reverse lights and other bulbs remain clear, so they do not need to be swapped.
SiR
About 20 minutes for this one. The result looks neatly finished.
You need a little technique!
Is it difficult? How long does installation take? How much attention does it attract?
The left unit is the turn-signal section (four screws); the right is the reverse-light section (three screws). Remove all seven screws and it comes apart easily.
SP film

The lamp fitted to the car is stock; the one being held has the film applied. See how the turn-signal section looks orange?

Even though it looks stock…
We used window-film application spray, but diluted dishwashing detergent also works. The important thing is to keep the surface wet.
…it is different! The finish has a European look!
Once the film is mostly in place, pull it gently while applying heat so it conforms to the curved lens. This time we used a lighter.
Apply the film slightly larger than the area needed, then trim it. Be careful not to cut too much off!
When illuminated, it looks like this. The turn signal appears orange when off, but when switched on it looks closer to yellow.
