You bought aluminum wheels, but something still doesn't look quite right… Could that little protrusion be the reason? It's the tire air valve sticking out. This product makes that annoying protrusion sit flush. Let's install it on the YV Civic. Remove the wheel from the car and then take off the tire. A dedicated machine makes this easier, and to avoid scratching your wheels, it's best to have a tire shop do it. Replace the valve and put everything back together. Much cleaner! On three-spoke wheels, the large openings make protruding valves especially noticeable. Since the valve no longer sticks out, you also don't have to worry as much about hitting it on stones on rough roads and losing air. The cap currently comes only in silver, but more colors are planned so you can match your wheels.

1.

First jack up the car and remove the two front wheels. If you have a lift, you can do all four at once.

Normally, a tire is removed from the front of the wheel, but with reversible wheels it comes off from the back. Check this beforehand!

2.

Remove the protruding valve and replace it with the new one. Make sure the rubber gasket is seated properly.

9.

Remove the cap with a coin or screwdriver, screw in the included adapter, and inflate it like this.
